Yaiza

Ah, the masterpiece of the island’s Nativity scenes is the Belén de Yaiza, with its miniature replica of Lanzarote. You’d think even the ants had pitched in to build this little marvel! The council team, armed with patience and a few cups of coffee, spends about six weeks every year turning Plaza de los Remedios into a miniature spectacle.
