What happens on a try dive?

What You’ll Experience:

  • You’ll be in a small group of no more than 4 divers per instructor.
  • Dives start from a spot sheltered from wind, waves and currents, where you can stand.
  • It’s a gentle introduction: you’ll begin with exercises at the surface, then your instructor will gradually help you progress until you feel comfortable for around 40 minutes of diving.
  • All equipment is provided.

  • You will follow a course that allows you to flourish in this environment and push your limits.
  • You will aquire various techniques and skills which, once learned, will allow you to obtain your certification.

How It Works:

  • You will explore the seabed in small groups.
  • The Canary Islands offer a wide range of dive sites, from the shore or a boat, from wrecks, walls, drift and night dives, there´s something for everyone.

- WHAT ABOUT FREEDIVING?

What is it?

Freediving, or breath-hold diving, is a discipline that lets you explore the underwater world relying solely on your breath. Unlike scuba diving with tanks, freediving focuses on relaxation, breath control, and a deep connection with the underwater environment. Our freediving courses are suitable for all levels, teaching you how to manage pressure, improve your swimming technique, and explore safely. It’s a unique way to connect with nature while taking on a personal challenge.

Did you know?

To study the underwater world, Alexander the Great had a watertight barrel built in 325 BC, open on one side only, which trapped a bubble of air once pushed under water. This barrel, called the “Colympha”, became the first man-made diving device.

    Try dives :

    We offer 2 different dive sites:

    – Costa Teguise:

    for the single dive, you’ll be in a sort of natural pool no more than 4–5 metres deep, where you can see all kinds of fish, in shoals or on their own, swimming freely! This site is perfect for children, anyone who’s a bit nervous, or those who simply want to experience breathing underwater and feeling weightless.

    – Puerto del Carmen :

    for the 2-dive package, this is THE dive site on Lanzarote. Your first dive goes to 5–6 metres, and the second can reach 12 metres. The seabed is teeming with life, from parrotfish to octopus – and with a pinch of luck you might spot seahorses, stingrays or even Lanzarote’s emblem, the angel shark, a harmless species that finds refuge in our waters, as sadly it’s critically endangered elsewhere.

    Prices:

    – 1 dive of about 40 minutes underwater: €90 (afternoons only in Costa Teguise, meet at 2:30pm, finish at 5pm)
    – 2 dives of about 40 minutes each: €140 (mornings only in Puerto del Carmen, meet at 8:30am in Costa Teguise or 9am on site, finish around 12:30pm)

    You’ll start with the Open Water course, over 3 half-days, which then lets you dive independently to a maximum of 18 m. It costs €420.

    Next comes the Advanced Adventurer, where you’ll start exploring different diving specialities such as wreck, deep and night dives. The price is €325, and you’ll do 5 dives.

    You can then move on to Diver Stress & Rescue, which teaches first-aid skills specific to diving. It’s a really interesting course and essential if you want to become a diving professional. It costs €385, or €345 if you have your own equipment.

    Dives are from the shore, but there are also amazing sites to explore by boat. For 2 dives, there’s a supplement of €30 from Puerto del Carmen, €40 from Playa Blanca, or €85 to dive at La Graciosa (ferry included).

    Freediving:

    Freediving discovery (AIDA 1): ideal for beginners, this introductory course teaches you the basics of freediving. You’ll learn the essential breathing, relaxation and breath-hold swimming techniques while discovering the unique sensations of the sport.

    • Duration: 3 to 3.5 hours
    • Price: €95

    AIDA 2 course (Level 1 equivalent): the first full freediving certification level. You’ll learn more advanced techniques such as static apnea, free immersion and constant weight diving. The theory covers key topics such as physiology, safety and the different freediving disciplines.

    • Duration: 3 days or 5 mornings
    • Price: €370

    AIDA 3 course (Advanced level): for those who want to go further, this course deepens your skills with techniques such as free fall and advanced equalisation. You’ll reach greater depths and build your knowledge of underwater safety and physiology.

    • Duration: 4 days
    • Price: €490

    Dives take place in the south of the island, depending on conditions, to give you the best possible experience.

    You’ll meet directly at the site confirmed the day before.

    The dive lasts about 40 minutes and costs €89.

    To make the most of the experience, the 2-dive package costs €135.

    Courses:

    You’ll start with the Open Water course, over 3 half-days, which then lets you dive independently to a maximum of 18 m. It costs €455.

    Next comes the Advanced Adventurer, where you’ll start exploring different diving specialities such as wreck, deep and night dives. The price is €345, and you’ll do 5 dives.
