Don’t worry: the crew are incredibly friendly and used to guests from all over. Whether it’s offering you a drink, serving food or letting you know when it’s time to swim, communication is always easy and comes with a smile, in English, Spanish or French.

  • 🌊 Destination Papagayo (90% of the time): Our aim is to drop anchor near the stunning wild beaches of Papagayo, and that’s what happens almost every time. However, the sea and the wind are always the ones in charge. If the weather doesn’t allow the boat to get there safely, the captain will adapt the route to find you another sheltered spot that’s just as gorgeous.

  • 🔇 No “party boat” here: If you’re after a boat with techno blaring, all-you-can-drink booze until you’re sick and 80 people crammed on deck, you’re in the wrong place! At Crazy Canary, we’re all about calm, the sound of the waves, a friendly atmosphere and respect for nature.

  • 👥 A genuinely small group (12 people max): Unlike the huge tourist catamarans that can feel like floating factories, our trips are limited to 12 passengers maximum. That’s what lets us offer a warm atmosphere, easy chats with the crew, and room to stretch out and relax.

  • 💨 The weather calls the shots: If the captain decides the wind or swell won’t allow for a pleasant, safe trip, we’ll reschedule or give you a full refund. My pro tip: Book your trip early in your stay so you have some leeway if it needs to be rescheduled because of the weather.
