In the land of volcanoes, the locals are the masters of fire and lava. Who said toasting marshmallows on a volcano was a bad idea? Not them, that’s for sure!<\/em><\/p>\n

If you’ve ever chatted with someone from Lanzarote, you’ll know the humour here is as dry as the island’s arid landscapes. Their sarcasm is sharper than the rocks of the Cueva de los Verdes, and their self-deprecation comes as naturally as the vines growing in La Geria.<\/p>\n
